Every time I try open Copilot Chat window it freezes Android Studio UI for a couple of seconds. It happens every time, not only upon 1st launch. It happens if you have a pretty long conversation story.

Same issue, upon opening/closing/resizing the chat tab the studio freezes for 10-15 seconds.

@ChumachenkoRoman @ItayFeld @renitto @mgriffin @inegru-visma Hi , I solved the problem by going to the folder in windows C:\Users\losal\AppData\Local\github-copilot\ai\chat-sessions and deleting the folders inside. These folders are logs of our previous conversations, I think GitHub Copilot takes a while to start because it must load all the conversation previously. I also think it is useful to click on the three dots in the chat window and look for the option to delete current conversation. With these steps I solved the performance problem of GitHub Copilot in Android Studio.
