Why aren't you adding Egypt in the list of Countries that you have from 2FA through SMS?

It doesn't make sense to me! I almost lost access to my account because of that as I changed my phone and my laptop with the recovery codes and of course I didn't expect that you only verify access through the app. Luckily I had backed up the recovery codes on a different laptop that I forgot about.
Now I regained access and trying to add my phone for SMS recovery and surprise surprise, my country is missing!!

Thanks so much for reaching out in GitHub's Community! I'm sorry you had to experience that. If your country is not on the list, then we aren't currently able to reliably deliver text messages to your country. We track delivery rates across all countries, including ones not in the list, and review it to understand when we have to remove countries or can add them back. We do not add countries with low deliverability rates, because it leads to users being locked out of their accounts when they can’t receive the SMS for 2FA.

If you do decide to configure 2FA via a TOTP application, please review our documentation.

Thanks so much for getting back to me on this. Honestly I'd personally prefer to have it as an option with low deliverability alongside the 2FA (which was already configured on my old phone) rather than being locked out of my account as I was about to lose my Copilot license because of that. However I understand your concern of being at risk that the SMS might not reach the end user, but many many providers already have Egypt in their list of countries and it's working fine.

I hope you'd reconsider this and add Egypt to the list as it would make me more very comfortable and at ease knowing I could easily login to my account in case this situation should happen in the future hopefully not though :)
