• The GitHub Enterprise Server 3.14 is now generally available: This version gives customers enhanced deployment requirements and security controls. Visit our discussion post to learn more, leave feedback, and ask questions.
• Enterprise Managed User accounts now require email verification: Enterprise managed users (EMUs) must now prove ownership of their email addresses. Existing EMU account email addresses do not have to take this step unless the email address matches one on another GitHub.com account. Get the details in the changelog.
• Introducing metered billing for GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Advanced Security: We are expanding our “pay-as-you-go” model to include GitHub Enterprise (GHE) and GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) — unifying the GitHub product portfolio as metered services.
