I understand that GitHub is the subject to a lot of spam. I appreciate that dealing w/ it is hard.
As a project owner, I'd appreciate a notification when a user who has made a change to a wiki of mine is zapped.
Here's an example change made by a user:
https://github.com/check-spelling/check-spelling/wiki/_compare/38888b8e2ed7ea18ca70ee1fc3df5ada6e66f16b...1dcdd7dfde990f52156f11cb6549c5cceefb255a
The user was https://github.com/0623520594my
I'm pretty sure I saw some sign of this change in a feed somewhere.
I'd really like to have had an extra notification from GitHub saying "this commit which is in your wiki was created by a user we just zapped".
That would be a big hint for me that I probably want to carefully investigate their change(s) and probably will want to zap them.
Obviously there are some scaling problems -- what to do if a zapped user made changes to lots of pages. Well, I probably need a complete list so that I can carefully review all of them. I'll also want a way to easily dismiss all of these notifications. But, I already need a way to filter notifications by things and dismiss them, so, I'm going to assume that's already a solved problem 😄.
