Hello,

I just subscribed to Copilot Pro through the GitHub App via Google Play, but I didn't receive the promised 30-day trial period.
What went wrong?

Github is purposefully ignoring trials and not giving them to people so that you will cave and just buy. See here countless others whose trials are not working. https://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/149578

That’s unfortunate; then this will be my first and last month with Copilot Pro.

Same thing just happened to me on pc. Got the free trial about 2 hours ago, now its acting like it never existed on my account and isn't offering to reactivate the free trial... lame.

That's obviously very frustrating. Have you already tried contacting support?

Here is the response I received from support regarding my issue, in case anyone is interested:

„Thank you for reaching out.

My apologies for the confusion this has caused. The Copilot Pro trial is currently only available when signing up directly through GitHub.com and is not available when signing up via in-app purchases."
