copilot "Language model unavailable" and disappeared model selector dropdown

when I use copilot in VSCode, there is an error :"Language model unavailable"
And I noticed that there is no model selector dropdown in the input component of the copilot chat extension.
Even in the github web immersive copilot is not work.

I solved the problem by uninstalling GitHub Copilot and GitHub Copilot Chat, then reinstalling them. Everything works fine now — please give it a try.

I have uninstall and re-install the complete VSCode application and clear the browser cache, it works now. Thanks.

I solved the problem by uninstalling GitHub Copilot and GitHub Copilot Chat, then reinstalling them. Everything works fine now — please give it a try.

It started happening again in version 1.388.0. Uninstalling and reinstalling don't help.

Check your github admin hasn't changed the copilot settings - Mine did, and this option got disabled, resulting the "language model unavailable" message - I got this reenabled, and it started working again
