I had an idea for a new app - extension:

app or extension which removes the referral data from URLs in Safari and Chrome

I would be happy to pay works with Safari and Chrome if it were listed online.

I’d bet that lots of other online Internet users would also pay for it.

I looked far and wide online, but could not locate one that works.

I receive emails from carious media outlets: NYTimes, Bloomberg, Economist, portal sites,…. and when I click on the links, they deliver me to the frequently include tracking referral data.

I am looking for a way to simply retracting referral data before I save or share with other people.

Here is a recent example.

I looked online… there were such extension for Sarafi and Chrome, but both were blacklisted.
