Launching an RStudio Project from Github Desktop

Hi - my repository contains an RStudio Project (a single .rproj file), and all of the .R files I want to use in that project. GitHub Desktop gives the option to "open in R studio", but this launches a generic instance of Rstudio showing a blank .R file.

To launch the project correctly, GitHub Desktop would need to open the .rproj file located within the repository.

How can I make GitHub Desktop open .rproj file when "open in RStudio" is clicked?

GitHub Desktop opens RStudio in the repo folder, not the .Rproj file directly. Open the .Rproj manually once via File > Open Project in RStudio—RStudio will remember it next time.
