I am writing to kindly request the reactivation or unblocking of access for GitHub accounts associated with Syria. Recent updates in U.S. foreign policy, along with the lifting of all European sanctions, have removed many of the restrictions that previously limited access to platforms and services such as GitHub.
In light of these changes, I would appreciate it if you could review the current access restrictions placed on Syrian users and consider reinstating full access to GitHub services, including private repositories and collaboration features.
Access to open-source tools and developer platforms is critical for education, research, and participation in the global developer community. Re-enabling access would greatly benefit many developers, students, and professionals in the region.
Please let us know if any additional information or documentation is required to support this request.
Thank you for your time and understanding.
Best regards,
