LFS Billing UI does not match docs — no way to upgrade or view usage

Hi ,

I'm currently facing a serious issue managing my Git LFS usage due to a mismatch between the GitHub billing UI and the documentation.

According to GitHub Docs, I should be able to view detailed LFS storage and bandwidth usage per repository. However, in my Billing page, I only see a vague summary like this (see screenshot):

SKU: Git LFS storage
Units: 21.64 GB-hr
Billed: $0.00
(No breakdown by repository or usage stats)

There is:

• ❌ No way to see which specific repositories are consuming LFS storage
• ❌ No button or link to upgrade or purchase more LFS quota
• ❌ No visible usage graph as described in docs

This is causing a big problem, because:

• I’ve exceeded LFS bandwidth/storage
• I don’t know which files or repos are causing it
• I can’t delete the LFS files or upgrade the plan from the UI

Please let me know:

1. Is there a new UI that replaced the usage breakdown?
2. How can I find which repositories are consuming LFS storage?
3. How can I manually upgrade or remove old LFS objects?

This issue is time-sensitive because I need to access a project for my university coursework, but I can’t resolve the LFS block.

same i am also unable to work and have to wait til the 1st of the new month to even continue.

I've emailed the support team about it to see if they can just upgrade for me but so far no response back

Edit update: ** so I just solved it myself. you have to go to the "Billing and Licenecsing" > Budgets and alerts > set at least $5 in the GIT LFS budget.... once that is done

make sure to go to the repo you want for LFS > go to settings in that repo > and go down to the Archives section and set the check box for LFS.
i did those steps and now its finally cloning my repo and doing what I need it to do

Me too, I can't monitor the specific LFS usage of every project. Honestly, I have no idea about the usage situation of the projects

And I just purchased the annual Git LFS Data Pack 2 weeks ago for f**ks sake.
