Copilot has stopped respecting the
github.copilot.chat.commitMessageGeneration.instructionssetting in my settings.json. This was working earlier today, and no local changes (extension updates, VS Code settings changes, or reinstallation) have restored the behavior.Things I’ve tried:
The setting still shows up in the VS Code tooltip but commit messages generated via Copilot ignore the instruction entirely.
