I hate this new flow. I want a way to skip this screen. The old flow was fine. Also, when I've typed something in the bottom bar, then choose Create New Issue, then choose Blank Template, it doesn't remember what I typed in the first place, so I have to type it again. I used to be able quick-create issues, now I have to type and go through like 3 screens. |

Separate from not being able to skip this new pop-up, there's a bug where using the keyboard shortcut cause the new issue's title to be lost, making this extra painful: https://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/187115 |

Github relatively recently (February?) changed the workflow when creating a new issue from inside a project:
We have no issue templates set up, and we don't want to set any up, so currently this is an extra step on every issue creation, where you have to select the only option from a list of one option, and this step used to just be skipped.
Trying to set up exactly on empty template did not make the behavior better, since it only added the empty template as an option next to "Blank Issue", making the list 2 items long instead of skipping the step.
Can we have back the auto-skip of this modal if there is only one choice to make?
