Copilot Agent Mode
Body
In Copilot Agent Mode within the GitHub Copilot VS Code extension, when a file is modified and even committed, it still appears in the Copilot file list. The expected “X” button to remove or dismiss the file from the list does not appear, and there is no obvious way to clear it.
I have tried the following steps to resolve the issue:
None of these worked — the file still appears in the list after commit, and I can't remove it.
Steps to Reproduce:
Enable Copilot Agent Mode.
Modify a file.
Commit the file via Git.
Observe the Copilot side panel:
The file still appears in the list.
There is no “X” button to remove it.
