I started a Github Project (the project management tool github has newly created) with my friend I'm building a project with.

It's looking like a great alternative to JIRA for planning and connecting to issues and PRs and such inside github since it's also a part of github.

The one thing I want to ask about is is there a way for me to watch a project? All the changes he makes in the project happen silently. I want to be able to subscribe to changes to tickets that i'm not marked assigned to.

I believe this featured is not implemented, although its a great point and useful in collaborative projects; You could ask for a mention (using @ keyword) in comments to get a notification.
Probably the vast majority of people would acknowledge it.

Yeah for my particular use case I realized i can just Follow all activity in a repo, but I can definitely see how this feature would still help for someone e.g. who is a non coder who wants to follow all changes made in a github project but does not want to get a feed of all issues/PRs in various code repos.
