I’m Karamveer Singh Oberoi, Mentor at Coding Club PRPCEM (P.R. Pote Patil College of Engineering and Management, Amravati). We’re organizing Hackathon 26 (2026) focused entirely on student innovation, coding, and problem-solving in Maharashtra. Our previous Hackathon 25 saw over 200 student teams, and our college proudly served as a Nodal Centre for Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2023. We would love to explore any sponsorship or partnership opportunities with GitHub Education, especially around providing access to tools like GitHub Copilot, GitHub Student Developer Pack, or mentorship. For GitHub Student Developer Pack access for participants:
Each student registers individually at https://education.github.com/pack — they need a .edu email or proof of enrollment. There’s no bulk/event-level signup, but you can share the link and encourage participants to apply before the event.
For GitHub Copilot access:
Students with verified GitHub Education accounts get Copilot for free automatically. Direct participants to https://education.github.com/benefits to verify eligibility.
For formal sponsorship or partnership:
GitHub Education has a Campus Program for colleges. Your institution can apply at https://education.github.com/schools — this gives faculty and students enhanced access. As a Nodal Centre for SIH, your college likely already qualifies.
