Hi everyone — I’m seeing severe slowness and failures when using Copilot from inside Visual Studio and I’m not sure whether this is a server-side outage or something local to my setup. Any help or pointers appreciated.

What’s happening

When I ask Copilot simple requests from Visual Studio, responses often take > 30 minutes or never arrive.

When I switch models: Claude fails with an error, Gemini 2.5 is the only model that consistently returns an answer.

This started happening recently (no exact time known).

Visual Studio: Visual Studio 2022 — 17.14.15

Copilot / extension version: Copilot Pro

OS: Windows 10
