It's far worse than just an extra click - you can't now just tab forward through the form, the modal not only requires a click (and yes its the default so one can just hit enter) but then does not return you to the same or similar location on the form. So keyboard navigation is deeply broken (actually how did this survive accessibility testing??) |

It appears there has been a recent UI change so that when creating a release, there is now an extra modal for creating the tag.. extra clicks are not something I appreciate :(
This previously would just create the tag on publish as it says. I can see the problem it technically fixes but i feel like the validation for the tag could happen after selecting a tag, instead of needing a whole new modal.
