my repo https://github.com/ryzendew/AffinityOnLinux is no longer a fork and i want that to be changed without deleting the repo and re-uploading

Option 1 — Use GitHub’s “Detach fork” button (if available)**

GitHub recently added a way to do this yourself.

1. Go to your repo:
   https://github.com/ryzendew/AffinityOnLinux
2. Click Settings
3. Scroll down to Danger Zone
4. Look for “Detach this fork” or “Convert to an independent repository”
5. Click Detach

If the button is available, you're done 🎉
Your repo will become a completely independent repository.

Option 2 — If the button does NOT appear (common case)**

This happens if:

• The parent repo was deleted
• Or if GitHub hasn’t enabled self-detach for your repo type
• Or if the repo has PR history linked to parent

Then you must contact GitHub Support:

1. Go to support page:

https://support.github.com/contact

2. Choose:

"Repo Ownership, Name or Settings" → “Detach a fork”

3. Send this message:

Hello, I would like to detach my repository from its fork parent.

Repository: https://github.com/ryzendew/AffinityOnLinux

Please convert it into an independent repository.

Thank you!

GitHub usually fixes it within a few hours.

• All code, issues, stars, forks remain
• URL doesn’t change
• Only the “Forked from ____” banner disappears
