Copilot isn’t reading the deleted repo. The more likely cause is local context. If you used mega_lib recently in your project, editor Copilot will pick up file names, imports or anything still sitting in your workspace or history and suggest it back. If you’re using Copilot on the website, it only sees what you type and whatever the model already knows, so any mention in previous chats or snippets can surface again. |

Hi! I have made a python library called BeginnerLib (feel free to check it out. The newest version is 1.1.0) but before all that I had a GitHub repository that had the name as mega_lib and I deleted the repository. Still after talking to copilot, it told me abut mega_lib and gave me a link. The link lead me to a 404 error page because it was deleted. I want every trace of mega_lib to be gone. HOW DID COPILOT KNOW!?
