Hey, If GitHub took your money but Copilot Pro isn’t showing up, it’s probably just their servers thinking, “Hmm… do we really trust this person yet?” A few quick fixes: Make sure you’re logged into the same account you paid from. GitHub is picky like that. Check your billing page—sometimes payments clear but your subscription doesn’t auto-flip. Log out, log back in, maybe clear your cache—basically give it the old IT reboot. If it still refuses to play nice, hit up GitHub Support with your payment info. They’ll manually verify and flip the switch so you can finally start coding like a wizard. Copilot waits for no one, but a little nudge usually does the trick. 😉 |

Hi @rohityadav-boop, Looking closely at your screenshot under the Features section, I noticed that "Copilot Chat in GitHub.com" is marked as Disabled. There is a specific error message below it stating: "Your organization(s) have not enabled use of this feature." This usually happens not because of a payment failure (your billing screenshot confirms the subscription is active), but because of Organization Policies. Even if you have a personal Pro subscription, if your account is managed by or associated with an Organization that has restricted Copilot usage, it might block these features. Here is the fix:
3 If you are just a member, you will need to ask your Organization Owner/Admin to enable this feature for you. Hope this helps!" |
