AI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and others are everywhere now, but everyone seems to use them differently. Some people rely on them heavily, others are still not sure when or how to use them safely.
I’d love to hear: How are you using AI tools in your coding or learning right now?
For example:
Do you use Copilot just for autocomplete, or also for writing whole functions?
Do you ask AI to explain code you don’t understand?
Have AI tools ever confused you or given you bad suggestions?
How do you make sure you still learn and don’t just copy–paste everything?
Please share both the good and bad parts of your experience:
What AI helps you with the most
Any mistakes or problems you’ve faced
Tips for beginners on how to use AI without becoming dependent on it
This is a judgment‑free zone. The goal is to collect real stories and practical tips so that people who are new to AI + GitHub can learn from each other’s experiences.
