Unable to access GitHub support for account reinstatement (blocked account + no email + forced login) #187533

Being stuck in a login-redirect loop while your account is suspended is a frustrating "catch-22" situation. Since the standard support portal requires authentication, you need to use the Appeal path that doesn't require a standard login session. Try these specific steps: Official Appeal Form: Go directly to the GitHub Support Appeal form. This page is specifically designed for blocked users and often allows a different verification method than the standard login. Verification via Email: If the form still forces a login, try accessing it via a totally fresh Incognito window. Sometimes, GitHub will provide a "Contact Support" link on the suspension notice page itself that bypasses the standard dashboard. Social Media Escalation: While not a technical fix, reaching out to @githubhelp on X (formerly Twitter) with your ticket number (if you managed to get one) or just explaining the login loop can sometimes trigger a manual review by a moderator. Terms of Service Path: If you can't even open the form, you can technically email support@github.com with the subject "Appeal for Account Suspension" followed by your username. Although you mentioned emails bounce, this specific subject line sometimes triggers a different automated routing system. Sorry, I don't speak English, this text has been translated. |

Hi @j29abhishek, This community is managed by GitHub employees, but it is not a support forum. The only place to go for answers to account-specific questions like this one is opening a ticket on our Support page Important For account related issues, GitHub Support requires that you contact them from the email address verified on that account. If you haven't already, please submit a request using this form: https://support.github.com/contact/cannot_sign_in When completing this step, you won't be required to sign in, but you will need to verify your email address. If you're currently signed into a different account, please sign out first before following the link. This is a public forum, and the community is unable to assist with nor escalate your ticket, but we can assure you it is in the right place. It will be answered in the order it was received based on our team's resources and the amount of tickets ahead of yours. No other Community Discussions team members will be able to provide additional help with account related questions. We appreciate your understanding and patience while Support works through your request! |

Hi everyone,
I’m posting here because I’ve reached a complete dead end with GitHub support and I’m hoping someone from the community or a moderator can advise.
My GitHub account appears to be blocked/suspended. The problem is not just the suspension, but that I currently have no technical way to submit an appeal:
• I cannot log in to the affected account
• GitHub no longer accepts support requests via email (messages bounce)
• support.github.com redirects me to login/signup, and logging in with another account creates an account-binding loop
• I consistently receive HTTP 403 errors or forced authentication across networks and browsers
As a result, I’m unable to submit an account reinstatement request or even contact support to ask how to proceed.
I’m not trying to bypass policies or evade enforcement — I’m just trying to understand if there is any legitimate path to request a review when:
If anyone has encountered this situation recently or knows the correct escalation path (especially one that doesn’t require logging in), I would really appreciate the guidance.
Thank you for your time.
