I'd use an authentication app for two-factor authentication instead. Go to Settings > Security > Two-factor authentication, then click "Enable" next to "Authentication app". Scan the QR code with an app like Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password. Save the recovery codes GitHub provides - you'll need them if you lose access to the app. This bypasses SMS entirely. If your account is already locked because you couldn't complete SMS verification, you'll need to contact GitHub Support directly through their contact form. Explain your region doesn't receive SMS and request manual verification. They may ask for identity confirmation. I'm not sure if they'll approve it, but the authentication app method is the standard alternative. |

As titled, are there any other ways to perform the verification other than SMS? Thanks.
