TL;DR: A known VS Code Insiders infinite-loop bug drained my Copilot quota, resulting in a false $15 overcharge. Support ticket #4046865 has been ignored for over a month.

Hey everyone,

A documented bug in the Copilot Agent (referenced in Discussions #184952, #180535, and #151256) gets stuck in a background retry loop or endless fix attempt. On Jan 28th, it silently logged 407 requests (my normal max is ~90), billing me an extra $15.

If you are GitHub Staff: Please escalate ticket #4046865 to process my request.
