Hello GitHub Support,

I encountered an issue when trying to sign up for GitHub Copilot.
The system shows the following message:

"Your account is unable to sign up for Copilot. Please contact Support."

Because of this, I am currently unable to subscribe to or use GitHub Copilot.

Here is some additional information that may help with troubleshooting:

• GitHub username: aibayanyu20
• Copilot plan: Individual
• Browser / environment: e.g. Chrome / macOS
• Screenshot of the error: (attached if needed)

Could you please help check whether there is any restriction or issue associated with my account that prevents Copilot signup?

I've seen this error before. It usually means your GitHub account has a restriction that blocks Copilot signup - often due to a terms violation or suspicious activity flag on the account.

Community discussions can't resolve this. You need to contact GitHub Support directly through the official channel. Go to the Copilot signup page where you saw the error, click the "Contact Support" link there, or use the GitHub Support form (support.github.com/contact) and select "Copilot" as the topic.

Have your GitHub username (aibayanyu20) ready. Support can check your account status and lift the block if eligible. There's no workaround from the user side for this specific error.
