Hi everyone,

I reapplied via another account as they advised me to do so but the other account with same name
but this time the requirements are different
can someone please explain this to me ?

one more thing we're not launching social media pages after searching online we found that it's not a good decision for an educational organization to have social media pages will this be an issue ?

The requirements you’re seeing are different because this application appears to be for the GitHub Campus Program (institution/enterprise license) rather than the GitHub Student Developer Pack.

The Campus Program is intended for universities or educational institutions, and the application must be submitted by an authorized representative of the institution (such as faculty, IT administrator, or program coordinator). That’s why GitHub is requesting things like these.

These requirements are meant to verify that the institution itself is applying, not an individual student.

If your goal is the GitHub Student Developer Pack, you should apply through the student verification page instead:
https://education.github.com/pack

And,
Social media pages are not required for the Student Developer Pack. They are only requested for institution-level applications to help verify the legitimacy of the organization. So if you are applying as a student, the absence of institutional social media pages will not matter.

i was trying to enroll our nonprofit e-learning "training and courses" institute it's all online
so did i choose correctly or i need to fix it and reapply something else ?
we need to enroll the institute so whenever a student / volunteering educator applies they can find the institute name in the application while applying in the section "What is the name of your school? *"

If you are going for your non-profit institute, then yes, you are going in the right direction.
But, GitHub typically lists institutions that:

Are accredited educational institutions
Grant diplomas, degrees, or official certificates
Have verifiable institutional presence (website, official documents, etc.)

within the form application i filled i uploaded the official documents
the website is online
they asked for what i posted earlier could you please clarify if we created school page on linkedin must it have followers ? we used to live without social presence such as website we just newly launched it
we already created today a page on linkedin and requested them to convert it from company to school waiting for their response and they don't give page that fast

i responded to them we do grant degrees from the providers who provide our students with free diplomas/trainging/courses and the government licensed us as private nonprofit school "institute" not just a nonprofit organization as stated in the official document so please don't look at us as an organization rather than private educational center

we need the free accounts for our students with their emails at our institute only we know our students can't even afford the discounts

how to solve this please ?

It looks like GitHub placed your new application under a deeper manual verification step.

The requirements are different because this application seems to be treated as an institution or organization verification request, not just a simple resubmission. They want proof that:

1. the authorized signer really works for the institution
2. the institution is legitimate
3. it actually grants diplomas, degrees, or certificates
4. the Campus Program license will be used for real educational purposes

About the social media part: not having official social media pages usually should not be a major issue by itself, as long as you can provide other official proof, such as your institution’s website, government registration, accreditation page, school profile, or official documents. If you have no social media accounts, you can simply explain that your institution does not maintain official social media pages and instead provide other verifiable official links/documents.

So in short, this is not necessarily a rejection. It is more likely an additional verification request.

You should respond with:

• proof of employment for the authorized signer
• a short explanation of why you are applying and how students/educators will benefit
• the institution’s Tax ID
• official website or other public institutional links
• documents proving the institution awards degrees, diplomas, or certificates

If you cannot provide social media links, just say so clearly and substitute them with official institutional references.
