Hi @anusha-g8, GitHub's billing system can be a bit rigid once an address is locked in, but here are a few ways to fix it:

• Update Payment Method: Instead of looking for a separate 'address' field, try clicking 'Edit' or 'Update' next to your payment method (Credit Card or PayPal). Re-entering your payment details usually triggers the option to provide a new billing address.
• The Downgrade/Upgrade Trick: If the system is stuck due to a pending/failed payment, the quickest fix is often to downgrade to the Free plan first. Once the account resets, you can upgrade back to Pro and enter the correct billing information from scratch.
• Contact Support: If your account feels 'locked' and neither of the above works, you'll need to reach out to GitHub Billing Support as they are the only ones who can manually override billing errors.

Hi, I have tried all three methods. The billing ticket is still pending from past 6 days. Nothing is working.. Is there any other solution to this?

You must follow up on your ticket through the GitHub Support Portal. If they don't reply and you are in a rush, the only practical solution is to create a new account, get Pro there, and re-upload your repositories. There is no other solution.

Usually, for billing issues, wait times can range from 7 to 14 days when manual review is needed. Don't lose hope, it will eventually get resolved! Best of luck.

Hi, If any of that is not working try cancelling your subscription and and buy again when billing cycle ends. and subscribe again with new billing address

I'd update the billing address directly on the saved payment method. Go to Settings > Billing and plans > Payment methods, click the three dots next to your card, and select Edit payment information. That's where the billing address field lives.

If that's locked, remove the card entirely and add it again with the correct address. Sometimes the address gets pulled from the card issuer's records, so you may also need to update it with your bank first.

If neither works, contact GitHub Support. Have your invoice number or subscription details ready - they can manually correct it. I've had to do this before when the address was tied to a past verification.
