Forks aren't sorted #189680

Hi DaniilBorovskiy1809 👋 You're right — forks are not sorted (and there's no sort option at all) in the GitHub for Android app right now, even on the latest version 1.250.0. This is a known limitation of the mobile app (the web version has full sorting by Newest / Oldest / Stargazers / etc., but the app doesn't yet). Fastest workaround (takes 10 seconds on your phone):
Done — instantly sorted forks! ✅ Even simpler long-term option:Just bookmark the repo and open it in your browser with "Desktop site" always on. The mobile app is great for issues/PRs/notifications, but the full website still wins for forks. GitHub already has this on their internal roadmap (sorting/filtering on repository screens in the mobile app), so it should arrive in a future update. In the meantime the browser trick works perfectly. Let me know the repo link if you want me to test it for you or if anything else is missing! Thanks for reporting it — happy forking! 🚀 |
