I was using the chat feature this morning on the github website March 17, 2026 6am-9am PST. I had a long conversation but when it came time to say yes to open the PR, I got "Error
I'm sorry but there was an error. Please try again." and no matter what i tried i could not get past this error.

I was using the chat feature this morning on the github website March 17, 2026 6am-9am PST. I had a long conversation but when it came time to say yes to open the PR, I got "Error I'm sorry but there was an error. Please try again." and no matter what i tried i could not get past this error.

For those coming to this, it was just a single chat that was broken. I copied all text from one chat to a new chat window and everything worked. The original chat is still broken but this way i could move on.
