You get Galaxy Brain by having 2 of your answers marked as accepted in GitHub Discussions; higher tiers come at 8, 16, and 32 accepted answers. It’s generally counted from public GitHub.com discussions, and community guidance says self-marked/test answers usually don’t count the way people expect |

You'll earn the Galaxy Brain badge once you answer two discussions. You can find more details here: https://github.com/Schweinepriester/github-profile-achievements |

You earn it when someone else marks your reply as the accepted answer in a public repository discussion. The repo must be public, and you cannot trigger it by answering your own thread. The discussion author or a maintainer needs to click the official Mark as answer button on your comment. I ran into the same delay when testing with a teammate. The achievement system batches updates, so it usually takes a few hours to show up on your profile. If your friend used the button and the repo is public, just wait a day. If it still doesn't appear, double check that your profile visibility is public and that you are looking at the right account. I'm not 100% sure on the exact sync window, but GitHub's achievement backend is known to lag behind the actual event. |

Question
How can I legitimately earn the "Galaxy Brain" achievement on GitHub?
Body
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to understand how the Galaxy Brain achievement works in GitHub Discussions. I’ve read that it’s related to having an answer marked as accepted, but I’m not sure about the exact requirements.
For example:
I also tried testing this with a friend, but it didn’t seem to work, so I’m wondering if there are specific conditions that must be met.
If anyone has already earned this achievement, could you share what worked for you?
Thanks in advance! 🚀
