Is there a demo environment available for the GitHub Copilot metrics dashboard? I am looking to present a webinar on driving and measuring adoption of GitHub copilot, but would prefer not to use my organizations data for the demo.

As far as many users are aware, GitHub does not currently provide a public demo or sandbox environment specifically for the Copilot metrics dashboard. The dashboard is usually tied to real organization data within an Enterprise setup.

A common workaround is to create a small test organization or pilot environment with a limited number of users and repositories, which can be used safely for demonstration purposes without exposing production data.

You may also want to check with GitHub sales or support teams, as they sometimes provide guided demos or enable preview environments for enterprise customers preparing webinars or adoption programs.

No official demo exists.
Quickest fix: Use the Copilot Metrics Viewer — it has a built-in mock/sample mode, perfect for webinars.
