hello everyone,
i have achievements in my account but suddenly they disapeared
i also checked the checkbox in my account setting for showing achievements

Same thing for me. It appears all of the newer achievements (excluding public sponsor, arctic code vault contributor, and Mars 2020 contributor) have been removed. They don't show on any account, not even @torvalds

Facing same issue, only Arctic Code Vault Contributor is showing up. I have 4-5 other which are not visible anymore.

Confirming the same issue here. Only the Public Sponsor badge is visible on my profile - all others (Pull Shark, YOLO, Quickdraw, etc.) are gone.

Tested on multiple profiles including https://github.com/torvalds?tab=achievements - same behavior. The achievements tab shows "Uh oh! There was an error while loading" for most badges.

I filed a separate report as well: #190749

This seems to be a backend issue affecting all users globally - not account-specific.

+1 Experiencing the exact same issue. Since March 26, all my achievements disappeared from my profile except for 2. I've tried toggling the visibility settings and clearing my cache, but nothing restores them. Seems to be a platform-wide backend bug.

Maybe GitHub did it on purpose ... to keep the "valuable" badges only

This is a known, long-standing GitHub bug

2022: Initial Beta Instability

When the feature was first rolled out, it immediately suffered from synchronization issues where the backend would fail to serve the UI badges:

2023: Widespread Disappearances

This was the worst year for the bug, with multiple massive waves of achievements vanishing from profiles overnight. Users frequently reported having 5+ badges drop down to just 1 or 2:

Even after the system matured, sudden backend regressions continued to wipe achievement visibility temporarily:

Facing the same issue, only the Arctic Code Vault Contributor is showing up. I have 4 other badges those are not visible anymore.
