This usually happens because GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) billing is based on unique committers within a 90-day window. If the feature was recently active, those committers might still be "active seats" on your bill even after you've toggled the setting to off. A few things to double-check:
2.. Billing Breakdown: Go to Settings -> Billing and plans -> Plans and usage and look for the "GitHub Advanced Security" section. It should show you a list of exactly which repositories are currently consuming seats. If the "active seats" list is empty but you're still being charged, then it's definitely a billing sync error that only Support can fix, but the 90-day rule is the most common culprit. |

Hello - Our org (teams plan) is being charged every day for "Secret Protection" that we have disabled in settings/security_products. I have a rule that has this feature disabled and not using the default GitHub rule. However, I'm still being charged everyday. I opened a support ticket last week and no response for that either. Could someone help please.
