I would like to submit a feature request for GitHub Copilot on https://github.com/copilot, especially for Copilot Spaces.

Problem:
The current web workflow relies heavily on mouse interactions.
During active chat usage, this creates frequent keyboard-to-mouse context switching and slows down iteration.

Request:
Please add keyboard shortcuts for core Copilot actions, with optional Command Palette support for discoverability.

Why this matters:
Keyboard-first interaction is critical for developer speed, focus, and accessibility.
For high-frequency in-chat actions, direct shortcuts are much faster than opening a menu each time.

Suggested actions for keyboard shortcuts:

In-chat actions:

• Focus chat input
• Stop generation
• Regenerate last response
• Continue generation
• Edit previous prompt
• Copy latest response
• Copy latest code block
• Navigate to previous/next message
• Collapse/expand long response sections
• Start a new thread

Copilot Spaces actions:

• Open Space switcher
• Switch to previous/next Space
• Create a new Space
• Toggle Resource Panel
• Open “Add resource”
• Attach selected file/repository to context
• Search/filter resources
• Expand/collapse resource tree nodes
• Move focus between chat and resources

Suggested UX approach:

• Direct shortcuts for high-frequency in-chat actions
• Command Palette (Cmd/Ctrl + K) for lower-frequency workspace and management actions

This hybrid model would significantly improve usability and make Copilot Spaces much more efficient for daily keyboard-first workflows.
