Bug: Password changed in GitHub mobile app does not sync to web; web rejects correct password with no 2FA prompt

Description:

1. I changed my GitHub password via the GitHub mobile app.
2. Mobile app login works fine with the new password.
3. On desktop web (github.com), I enter the exact same new password (copy-pasted).
4. The web immediately says "Incorrect password" and does NOT show any 2FA/verification step at all.
5. This only happens when password is changed on mobile; changing on web works normally (triggers 2FA on other devices).

Expected:
New password should sync across mobile and web; web should either accept password or prompt 2FA.

Actual:
Web flatly rejects correct password with no verification flow.

This appears to be a cross-device password sync bug between mobile and web.

I tried resetting my password repeatedly on my mobile phone about seven or eight times, but it kept showing an incorrect password error. Finally, I tested it on my computer and found that the problem was that the password was not synchronized between the mobile and computer ends.

I tried many times on my mobile phone, probably seven or eight times, but the password never synced correctly. I was almost frustrated to the point of doubting myself. Finally, I tried on my computer just once and it worked immediately. The problem is that the password does not sync properly between the mobile and desktop versions of GitHub.
