Can the free Copilot Pro license be combined with the Pro+ license? #191744

from what i understand, they don’t stack if you subscribe to pro+, that basically becomes your active plan and overrides the free pro you get from open source contributions. you won’t get “extra credits” from the free pro on top of pro+ — github doesn’t combine them like that the free pro is more like a benefit if you’re not already paying. once you move to a paid tier (especially a higher one like pro+), that’s the one that applies to your account not 100% officially documented in one place, but this is how most people have seen it behave with other github plans too if you’re relying on the free monthly pro, you might want to hold off on upgrading unless you really need the higher limits from pro+ |

Body
As a contributor to several open-source projects, Copilot provides me with a free Copilot Pro license every month.
I'm happy with my experience using Copilot, but sometimes the limited number of uses for Copilot Pro isn't enough for me, so I'm considering subscribing to Copilot Pro+.
My question is, if I subscribe to Copilot Pro+, will I no longer be able to get a free Copilot Pro license? Or can I continue to get a free license, and have its credits stacked on top of my Pro+ subscription?
