I've been talking to a number of fellow developers about how github just sends emails for everything. Generally we try to filter out what's useful and what we actually want to see by using inbox filters. This does not work well. This only works when you're on top of it, day by day. Have a busy week, or go on vacation and you have several hundred emails, if not a couple thousand. Then your best option is to empty the inbox and look through every PR and commit.

What if the github web ui highlighted changes to PRs?
Highlight PRs in the 'pulls/' page with yellow. Then highlight comments with yellow. Do the same thing chats do with pop ups on the top and bottom of the screen for "new comments" that we see in chat services.
