I recently added the GitHub Copilot extension to Visual Studio Code, and today found that the GitHub Copilot Labs is available.
I like the features Copilot Labs provided, but after installation, it asks to "Sign Up for Copilot Labs", which will ask for the following permissions:
Among them, "Know which resources you can access" includes the private repository access right.
I don't know why this permission is needed?
Does it just access private repository for me, and not send any information to AI engine or other users?
I still found the GitHub Copilot extension in Visual Studio 2022 still ask the previous acccess permission.
