Default Organization Permissions for a Team

Our Enterprise would like to have a team set up so it inherited a specific permission set for every repository created within an organization. Right now, any new repos that are created in an org have to specifically added to the team to gain access (above and beyond the org default permission). While hooks would be a good way to automate that, I feel teams should have the option to be added to organizations the same way a user is.
