We’ve all had that magical experience using a tool that just works: installation is a breeze, using it is easy, and error messages are clear and actionable. You achieve your goals and feel like a superstar! Why can’t our workday mirror our weekend passion projects? It can! In this session, you’ll be introduced to the concept of "developer experience" and why it matters. You’ll then embark on a journey to build a new tool with developer experience at its core. At the end of the talk, you will be equipped with the techniques and practices necessary to bring that same experience to your day-to-day work.
