Currently, GitHub Pages primarily supports static content, and server-side configurations, such as .htaccess files, are not available. However, the ability to configure server-side redirects directly within the GitHub Pages settings would be extremely beneficial for users who require this functionality.

Request: Enable server-side 301 redirection options for GitHub Pages.

If there are any existing plans or considerations for such a feature, or if you could provide clarification on GitHub Pages' capabilities regarding server-side redirects, it would be greatly appreciated.
