fix: hide canvas when mode selector opens to stop GPU layer bleed-through The WebGL canvas is always promoted to a hardware GPU compositor layer. On mobile Chrome this layer was painting above fixed-position DOM overlays regardless of z-index, making the mode selector background, info section, and play button invisible. Fix: set display:none on the canvas container when showModeSelect is true. The canvas element (and its WebGL context) stays mounted; it's just hidden from the compositor so it cannot bleed through the overlay. Also removes backdropFilter / semi-transparent background from ModeCarousel (replaced with fully opaque rgb(4,6,18)) since there's now nothing beneath worth sampling, and adds e.preventDefault() to the swipe handler so a long diagonal swipe cannot synthesize a synthetic click on the Back button. https://claude.ai/code/session_019yW7Fa7ToWUphHq99uS43u
