Well whenever we scroll through an file seems like code mirror only loads a small section of the code(mostly to reduce lag) but when we scroll quick enough(which we do at most) it kinda just lags and just feels slow and just shows an big empty space for a few seconds maybe add an option to increase the amount of content that is loaded (and maybe start loading the content before the user reaches the end of the page?) This didnt happen in the earlier ace implementation.

Agree, It happens even if you disable many of the "assistance" options in settings. and other things like animation. for me at least.
