[Epic] Deploy V1 prototype app #79

Description

@mark-torres10

Epic description

Our goal here is to be able to deploy V1 of the interface app that you just will end up using. Our goal is to have a link that users can use to query our database. We already have some data in S3 that we can directly use and query from.

  1. Create UI and deploy via Vercel. (tracked in Create UI and deploy via Vercel. #80)
  2. Create backend FastAPI layer and deploy via Railway. Connect to UI and have it access Athena to get the queries. Hardcode the queries (see Experiment with Postgres, SQLite, and .parquet+DuckDB #29 for example queries). (tracked in Create backend FastAPI layer and deploy via Railway. #81)
  3. Deploy the observability stack. Experiment with Railway vs. EC2/ECS approach to see which is cheaper for a v1 prototype (assume max 5 users, 100 queries per day usage). (tracked in Deploy the observability stack. #82)
