While setting up a scan, I prefer focus stacking, but the process of finding the right focus is made more difficult by the current loading animation, which whites out the image while it loads the next. This makes it hard to see small differences in fine adjustments.
I simply removed the background colour and have noticed a significant improvement to being able to see fine scale changes:
I kept the loader animation as that is a useful signal to know when the new image has loaded.
Could this become the default behaviour or at least an option in settings?
