Hey did any other Tailscale Funnel users suddenly notice their connection go down today?
Today at around 3am UTC all of my MCP connections started failing. Nothing changed on my side, but ChatGPT stopped being able to connect to my server through the Funnel endpoint.
The exact error I saw from ChatGPT was:
`error fetching OAuth configuration Cannot connect to host mymachine.tailz4fc38.ts.net:443 ssl:default [None]`
from this endpoint specifically:
POST https://chatgpt.com/backend-api/aip/connectors/mcp/oauth_config
500 Internal Server Error
I suspected it might be due to the Tailscale IP (100.84...) being blacklisted by ChatGPT. I ended up migrating my devspace server to a new setup with a normal public domain, and it started working again.
I’m mainly trying to figure out:
- did anyone else see Funnel-backed MCP endpoints break around that time?
- did anyone find a reliable fix, or did you also end up moving off Funnel?
