Can't assign to Coding Agent on GitHub iOS App

Describe the bug

On GitHub iOS app every time I try to assign an issue to Copilot (Coding Agent), it gives me an error. Any workarounds for this?

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. On the GitHub iOS app go to a repository
2. Click on an issue
3. Click on Info button to bring up Issue details
4. Assign issue to Copilot

Expected behavior

Copilot (Coding Agent) to take the issue and start working on it.

I think began happening since assigning to copilot via web now lets you pick a branch to build upon.

I mean, there's a web popup, an extra step that not sure if the mobile app is ready for.
