No documentation on features

I haven't tried the mod, just want to let you know that when we look up discord RPC mods there are about 3 mods rn on 1.21.11.
The first one seems to have only a few scenarios which displays on RPC, but the doc is lacking so we cannot know,
yours, idk, there is no doc, we do not know what will be displayed beforehands, third is phase's discord RPC, which does show a couple example like holding items which is enough to sway me over to that mod.
Basically, I cannot compare the mod to the other 2 mods.
What does this mod really bring as preset config is what's interesting for the players like me that do not want to hassle with a discord RPC mod, simply plug and go. A simple summary or chatgpt generated summary would do.

I see it's a wiki to configure/personalize it. I still do not know what comes out of the box. Dimensions ? Biomes ? Servers ? A couple images that cover the built in variants would be nice. A list of examples that cover the built in variants would also do the job albeit a bit less nice but just as functional. A short preview of the mod is always appreciated 😉 I believe it should be on modrinth/curseforge for fast access when browsing mods or even github for people like me.

I highly suggest you read the pages thoroughly, without the use of ChatGPT as it may not be reading the formatting we use. The tabs here dictate the features of what the mod can do, beyond just setup, and in fact, does list that we support Dimensions, Biomes, AND Servers.

Additionally, there is much too many features of the mod to explain, that we cannot just shove it all onto one curseforge page. Much, much too many features (we would hit curseforge's character limit in no time). so we made that website to put them all in a place we can link with the buttons I showed you.

Yes there is a misunderstanding. The wiki shows how to customize the functionality. I will not customize my RPC, and I have not downloaded&installed the mod to then look at the config files and try to find out what the mod does out of the box. I am not talking about anything that is on that documentation website. All I want to know is, I install the mod, I run it, what can my discord show right now without any configuration. A simple taste of each flavor can show what it is about.. Nowhere is it showing the basic "out of the box" functionality.

by default, it uses the Discord App ID we setup for "Minecraft", which just has a cartoonized version of a grass block. It also says which menu the player is currently in, if at all, and which dimension, how long they've been playing for.

I guess we could add more screenshots, but that's about it. we've disproven the title of the ticket that there's "no documentation", and this has turned into a rather opinionated discussion so the issue will now be closed.

I have way too much going on in my life right now to focus on modding. I haven't really slept in 4 days, so my body is shutting down.

The short list is this:

• Shows what screen you are on
• Shows what server you are on
• Can show what dimension or biome you are in
• Can show if you are paused or not
• You can use images stored on your pc as rpc images
• You have a bunch of built in placeholders you can use.

And shows you are playing Minecraft.

Pardon me for the name of the ticket, maybe documentation was not the exact wording and I was a bit unclear in my first wordings.

There's a lot of mods which do not have any screenshots/telling about what they bring. It's a simple question of knowing what you buy.
I have 75 mods installed, and at least a third did not show me any image or show me what I was getting and so I grew annoyed.

Out of the 3 rpc mods rn you were the only one not to disclose out of the box functionnality and so I was a bit curious.

Maybe my translated vocabulary brings a bit to the comms hassle lol..

Honestly I haven't really updated the content of the page since the mod was first created.

And even if I did, it would probably be outdated too....

I have a bad habit of not being able to keep "docs" up to date as I go 😅
