Cli is not responsive on Windows for verison 0.0.337

Describe the bug

when runnging command copilot on cmd or Powershell is shows you that it logged in and connects to MCP but then does not accept any input and not even Ctrl + C

Hi @MaherMakerHallerErne, thanks for the report! If you downgrade to 0.0.336 with npm install -g @github/copilot@0.0.336, do you still experience the freeze?

Also, do you see this when launching copilot in a dedicated terminal, or only when in VSCode's terminal?

Update: we were able to internally reproduce this on Windows in the VSCode terminal. We're working on a fix.

In the meantime, I have a few workarounds for you:

• If you press "Enter" when in the frozen state, it should work again!
• If you launch in Windows Terminal, it should work!

This has been mitigated by https://github.com/github/copilot-cli/releases/tag/v0.0.338 by disabling the Kitty protocol by default.
