Copilot CLI — tool_use ids were found without tool_result

Describe the bug

Not sure of exact repo but here's what I did:

1. Start copilot cli session with basic question
2. Switch away to a different session
3. Ask follow up question

Bug
I see a bunch of errors like

Error: {"message":"messages.8: tool_use ids were found without tool_result blocks immediately after: toolu_016mG9beSSzCRVShZXzKY4FR, toolu_01RzMce8t2PzzBe7Qfj7Rjhr. Each tool_use block must have a corresponding tool_result block in the next message.","code":"invalid_request_body"}
